Decision View’s Study Optimizer
To help complete clinical trials on time and on budget, Pfizer deployed DecisionView’s Study Optimizer. The system uses predictive modeling and visualization to plan and manage clinical trials. The software-as-a-service-based system enables Pfizer to optimize enrollments in clinical trials using predictive modeling and visualization. Users can analyze current data and forecast trial end-dates. The system also features tools to track the impact of possible course changes. Among its benefits, the system has reduced the time it takes to enroll patients by 30 to 40 days, saving $4 million annually. In addition, it cut the cost of recruitment for clinical trials by allowing the company to forecast the number of locations needed to participate.
