Valex Consulting was tapped to architect and develop the next-generation rebate platform for one of the top retailers in the US. The system completely automates receipt matching from POS system and eliminates the need to mail in receipts, cutouts of SKUs/barcodes, etc. System is developed using .NET C#, SQL Server 2008, SSIS, integrations with mailing houses, pre-paid credit card fulfillment, encryption, etc.
The system included an exhaustive list of conditions and various offer(promotion) properties to support various purchase bundles, waiting periods, product categories, purchase locations, limits (per household, per item, etc.):
